This
126 hectare North
Thompson River Provincial Park encompasses
both dry and wet ranges of the interior. Wildlife such as marten, coyote,
deer, moose and bears are resident in the forest cover of Douglas fir,
lodgepole pine, juniper, cedar and spruce. Birdlife is common and includes
such species as the chickadee, thrush, woodpecker and bald eagle. A miniature
railroad, gallery, museum, river rafting, golf and bike rentals are just
some of the areas attractions.
