large populations of freshwater shrimp. Sedge hatches occur in late
June and early July. Chironomids are heavy in early spring. Damsel
fly and dragons emerge in spring and flying ants are something to
watch for in early fall. All this makes HiHium lake a great lake
for the fly fishers. No fishing from December 1 - April 30. Single
barbless hook and a bait ban. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
for angling information!
